Allyson Weir has been teaching all disciplines of dance and choreographing competition dance routines for over 20years.
She is certified through and has been a member of Dance Masters of America and the Cecchetti Council of America. She has obtained numerous choreography awards from multiple talent competitions, and many of her students have won National titles from all major talent competitions in the country.
Allyson continues training through work with the most nationally known master teachers and choreographers in the business, many of which teach exclusively at Carolina Dance Capital when in the NC area! She is a well sought after judge for many talent competitions, and also teaches master classes all over the United States.
Her former students have danced in videos and on tour with Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin, Vanessa Hudgins, just to name a few. She has had many students go on to perform on Dancing with the Stars, multiple cruise ships and in Vegas shows!
It is her effort and focus to maintain a family atmosphere within the school, allowing for a positive environment to receive superior dance instruction! Allyson feels very blessed to have been given the opportunity to share her love for the art of dance with children of all ages and all levels through teaching and choreographing!
She is most proud of her two children Jace and Alexa, who share the love for Dance with her!
